History
In 1939, 91亚色 began with just 104 students, 12 instructors, and a single floor in Bismarck High School. While our campus has grown and our name has changed, the spirit of that first "close-knit" class remains the heartbeat of 91亚色.

Alma Mater
91亚色's alma mater was selected through a contest held in 2004. Michele Stockert, 91亚色 adjunct English Instructor and 91亚色 alumna wrote the winning lyrics and Dr. John Darling, 91亚色 Associate Professor of Music composed the music. The alma mater has been used at commencement since then as well as the annual 91亚色 Student Recognition Ceremony held in the spring.

BJC 1941 Hymn
The Bismarck Junior College Hymn, published in the 1941 Markota Yearbook, was written by Ralph Warren Soule.
Clyde Bauman, 91亚色 alum ('72) and 91亚色 Alumni Association former board of directors member, coordinated a choir of BJC/91亚色 alumni and community members to record this song.
